Much virtual ink has been spilled over the past few days over the Oxford Dictionary’s choice of “selfie” for 2013 word of the year. But I’ve noticed among the chorus of opinions on the social media self portrait an annoying trend: the selfie evangelist. Selfies are just dandy, they say, because they’re a way for people (mostly young women) to express themselves and to show pride in who they are. Then call you Indians and make a mockery of your culture trough exploiting you in sports teams and movies. Guess it had to happen or we wouldn’t be here though right? *Gobble gobble* But one day to say what your thankful for? I’m thankful everyday for the blessing in my life.. I don’t need a day to remind me. But I do love the family time. Xmas your next on my chopping block LOL
